Day 1
Arrival / Bangkok

Upon arrival in Bangkok, your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Bangkok

Things to do for today: Royal Grand Palace , Wat Phra Kaew (Emerald Buddha Temple) , Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn/Wat Chaeng) , Wat Pho

Your Bangkok city tour will start from a colorful flower and vegetable market to experience authentic local life. Next, explore the beautiful Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew inside.

After lunch, cruise along the canal by long-tail boat and see Thai houses and rural life. Later, move on to Wat Arun, also called the Temple of the Dawn, for a nice photo opportunity. You will finish the boat ride near Wat Po (Temple of the Reclining Buddha). Founded in the 16th century, it is the oldest and biggest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in the city.

Day 3
Bangkok

Things to do for today: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market , Suan Sampran Village (Formerly Rose Garden)

After breakfast, you will leave Bangkok to visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Arrive at the pier, take the long-tail speed boat to the floating market and enjoy the scenery of rural life en route. Watch the farmers selling foods, fruits, flowers and other kinds of local products in their boats, and try some local snacks. Enjoy a buffet lunch at Patom Organic Village (formerly Rose Garden). You can join in a workshop and take what you made home as self-made souvenirs. Drive back to Bangkok after the tour.

Day 4
Bangkok / Chiang Mai

Things to do for today: Meow Hill tribe village(Hmong Village at Doi Pui) , Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep

This morning, go to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel. After a short rest, drive to the quaint and picturesque Meow Hill Tribe Village, where you can dress up in tribal costume or shoot the crossbow. Continue to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a highly revered temple that sits on the top of Mount Doi Suthep overlooking Chiang Mai.

Day 5
Chiang Mai

Things to do for today: Baan Chang Elephant Park

Today, you will have a full-day tour to Baan Chang Elephant Park to observe elephants' daily activities and interact with them (join-in group tour with transfer).

Day 6
Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai

Things to do for today: Hot Spring , Mae Sai Border , Golden Triangle , Long Neck Karen Hill Tribe villages(Karen long neck Tha Ton or Mae Sa)

Drive to Chiang Rai and stop at a hot spring en route for relaxation. Later, have a break at Mae Sai Border, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to the Golden Triangle in Chiang Sean, where the borders of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand meet. The last site you will visit today is Long Neck Karen Village. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 7
Chiang Rai / Chiang Khong / Houeixay / Pakbeng

After Breakfast, check out and drive to Chiang Khong, a district in the northeastern part of Chiang Rai. Then, cross Khong River by boat to Houayxay checkpoint.

Upn arrival in Houayxay in Laos, your Laos guide will help you apply for a Laos visa. When the visa is ready, you'll board the cruise leaving Houayxay Pier and sail down the Mekong to Pakbeng. En route, a stopover is made to observe the rural lifestyle of Ban Gon Durn, a weaving village along the Mekong. A buffet lunch is served on board. Arrive at Luang Say Lodge before sunset for an overnight stay. Enjoy dinner on the terrace overlooking the Mekong.

Day 8
Pakbeng / Luang Prabang

Things to do for today: Pak Ou Caves

If you like, explore Pakbeng Market in the early morning before breakfast, where people from the surrounding ethnic minority villages have exotic goods on sale. The cruise departs for the second part of the trip. With a stopover at Ban Baw Village, you can observe the process of making traditional rice alcohol. A buffet lunch is served on board.

The cruise stops again opposite the mouth of Nam Ou River. You will visit Pak Ou Caves, a sacred Buddhist shrine. Arrive in Luang Prabang before sunset. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at the pier and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 9
Luang Prabang

Things to do for today: the morning alms-giving ritual , Morning Market , Wat Sene , Wat Xieng Thong , Wat Visoun , Wat Aham , Wat Mai , Royal Palace Museum , Mountain Phousi for sunset , Night Market

Observe the alms-giving procession in the early morning at 5:40. Visiting the Morning Market or Phousi Market afterward is a good choice. After breakfast, you will enjoy a short tour to see Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art. Later, visit the impressive Wat Visoun, one of the oldest temples in the city that houses many Buddha images. Next is the serene Wat Aham, the 'Monastery of the Blossomed Heart'. Visit Wat Mai, the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in the city and the Royal Palace Museum.

After that, you may climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred stupa and capture a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong at sunset. In the evening, you can venture into the night market and observe the local life on your own.

Day 10
Luang Prabang / Vientiane

Things to do for today: Ban Na Ouane Village , Ban Ou village , Ban Thapene Village , Khouang Si Waterfall

Drive to Kuang Si Waterfall in the morning. En route, visit some villages of Lao ethnic minority groups to have some knowledge of their lives. Have a blast at Kuang Si Waterfall! It's a paradise where you can fill your lungs with fresh air and splash the water like a child.

After the play time, you'll be transferred to Luang Prabang airport and fly to the capital city—Vientiane. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 11
Vientiane

Things to do for today: Wat Sisaket , Wat Prakeo , That Luang Stupa , Patuxay Monument , Buddha Park

After breakfast, visit Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Vientiane and Wat Prakeo. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Buddha Park. After the tour, go back to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 12
Vientiane / Exit

Things to do for today: Royal Palace Museum , Wat Visoun , Wat Aham , Wat Mai

Today, you will have some free time till your guide meets you and escorts you to the airport for your departure flight.
