Located in the northwest corner of Africa, Tangier looks at the Spanish city Tarifa across the Strait of Gibraltar. This tour starts from this city, where European culture and local customs go hand in hand. After it, we will come down to the blue city of Chefchaouen, and then to Fez and Rabat which are respectively the spiritual capital and political center of Morocco. Finally, end this trip at Casablanca, Morocco's biggest city which got known to the world due to an old film with the same name.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival / Tangier

Upon your arrival at Tangier airport or ferry terminal, your English-speaking driver guide will pick you up at the exit and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.

Day 2
Tangier

On this day, your driver will take you along the beach to enjoy what the city is famed for, including the Kasbah, the tomb of Ibn Battouta - a 14th-century famous traveler who was born in Tangier, Teatro Cervantes, the Grand Socco, and the American Legation. Afterward, visit the Tangier American Legation Museum with its Paul Bowles Wing dedicated to the writer and composer who lived most of his adult life in Tangier, and the Kasbah Museum, the former Sultan's palace deserves to be seen not only for its collection of artifacts from the Phoenician to modern times, but also for the building and garden. In the afternoon, you are free to discover what Tangier has to offer.

Day 3
Tangier / Chefchaouen

After breakfast, depart to Chefchaouen with a stop in the city of Tetouan. All the neighborhoods of Tetouan belong to three different architectural styles: the Andalusian style (Medina), the Spanish style of the early and mid-twentieth century (Ensanche) and the after independence style (peripheral neighborhoods). Each style includes variations more or less important in relation to the evolution of styles and materials. After the tour in Tetouan, continue to the blue city of Chefchaouen.

In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Outa-el-Hammam square, the cobblestone medina, and the Tarik-Ben-Ziad mosque whose octagonal minaret was inspired by that of the Torre de Oro in Seville.

Day 4
Chefchaouen / Fez

Things to do for today: Meknes , Bab Mansour , Moulay Idriss Zerhoun

After breakfast, drive to Fez with a detour to the famed Ismailia ancient capital Meknes. Step into the Bab Mansour, which is the entrance to the Imperial city proper, and visit the sultan's mausoleum and the Place El-Hedime here. Spend at least two hours to discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, and then stroll around the important pilgrimage town Moulay Idriss Zerhoun before driving to Fez for overnight.

Day 5
Fez

Things to do for today: Fes Medina

After breakfast, start your tour from the Fez Medina. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruits, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. Later, continue to the UNESCO site – the University of Al Quaraouiyyne, the El-Attarine and Bou Inania Medersas.

Day 6
Fez / Rabat

Things to do for today: New City, Hassan Tower , Mausoleum of Mohamed V

After breakfast, depart via the Highway to Rabat (about 2 hours' drive). Upon arrival, you will explore this imperial city, including the "new town" (built at the beginning of the French protectorate in Morocco), the Kasbah Ouddayas, the Testing garden, the medina ramparts and Almohad gates, Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V mausoleum and Habous neighborhood near Diour Jamaa. In the evening, enjoy farewell dinner at Dar Naji restaurant.

Day 7
Rabat / Casablanca / Exit

Enjoy a free morning before transferring to the airport of Casablanca for your departure flight.
