In this great city, you will also be treated with many splendid monuments. And from there, you can easily travel to the fairyland of Cappadocia - the Mars on the Earth.

Day 1
Arrival - Athens

Upon arrival at Athens Airport, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel in Athens. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore this romantic city.

Day 2
Athens

Things to do for today: Constitution Square (Syntagma) , House of Parliament , National Library , Acropolis

After breakfast, enjoy an Athens city tour. Firstly, visit the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. Proceed to watch the Evzone in their special uniform and tour the Presidential Palace. Later, tour the Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Panathenaic Stadium famous for holding the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Afterward, explore the Acropolis, including Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, Parthenon, and the Museum of Acropolis.

Day 3
Athens

After breakfast, be escorted to Piraeus port to embark on a boat for a full day cruise to 3 picturesque islands – Poros, Aegina, and Hydra. You will enjoy lunch and show on board. After the cruise, be transferred back to your hotel in Athens.

Day 4
Athens

Things to do for today: Delphi city (Temple of Apollo, theater, market and the famous Omphalos (navel of the earth) and the Delphi museum)

After breakfast, head to Delphi, which was considered by the ancients Greeks to be the omphalos of the world and holy religious center. You will discover many archeological sites, including the Temple of Apollo, the famous Omphalos (navel of the earth), theater, market, and the Delphi Museum with the fascinating sculptures. Later, visit a traditional Greek village of Arachova to observe local life. Afterward, drive back to Athens for overnight.

Day 5
Athens - Istanbul

Enjoy some free time before being escorted to the airport for flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel downtown.

Day 6
Istanbul

Things to do for today: Topkapi Palace , Imperial Harem , Hagia Sophia , Blue Mosque , Basilica Cistern (closed for pandemic rules temporarily) , Hippodrome

After breakfast, head to Topkapi Palace to see its fascinating collections of jewels and other artifacts. The architecture inside the Imperial Harem also worth a visit. Later, proceed to the Hagia Sophia, which is a museum encompassing both Christianity and Islam nowadays. Your next stop is the Blue Mosque which is considered as the landmark of Istanbul and famous for the blue tiles decorating interior walls. Afterward, explore the Basilica Cistern constructed by Justinian in 532 to supply water to the Byzantine Palace primarily. Finally, visit the ancient hippodrome, Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, etc.

Day 7
Istanbul - Kayseri - Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Devrent Valley, Goreme National Park, Uchisar Castle

After breakfast, be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Capadoccia. Upon arrival, be escorted to your hotel. Later, discover the wonderful fairy chimneys of Cappadocia at Devrent Valley and Pasabagi Valley. In the afternoon, head to see the charming examples of Byzantine art in the cave-churches of the Goreme Open Air Museum. Proceed to the Uchisar Castle for a fantastic panoramic view over Cappadocia. Your last stop today is Pigeon Valley.

Day 8
Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Ortahisar

After breakfast, visit the Ortahisar, a natural citadel carved in rocks. Proceed to the Subterranean City of Kaymakli, caved in the 7th century by Christians fleeing persecution. Later, drive to Cavusin Valley to explore the troglodyte dwellings where people lived for centuries. Afterward, visit the Red Valley and Wine House, famous for its fertile vineyards benefitting from the mineral-laden volcanic soil of the area.

Day 9
Cappadocia - Kayseri - Exit

Enjoy some free time before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
