Day 1
Arrival / Istanbul

Once landing in Istanbul, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and driver. Take the private vehicle toward your downtown hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 2
Istanbul

Things to do for today: Bosphorus Cruise (1-hour) , Rumeli Fortress , Spice market

A 1-hour scenic cruise on the Bosphorus Strait would be the best starting for your exploration of Istanbul. As the boat sails, the beautiful sights along the bank will appear in front of your eyes. After the boat trip, pay a visit to the Rumeli Fortress nestling on the narrowest part of the Bosphorus. Finally, walk around a spice market to feel the unique Turkish flavor and experience their daily life.

Istanbul

Things to do for today: Topkapi Palace , Imperial Harem , Hagia Sophia , Blue Mosque , Basilica Cistern (closed for pandemic rules temporarily) , Hippodromet

When traveling in Istanbul, there are three landmark sights that you can't be missed: Topkapi Palace with numerous collections of jewels and artifacts reveals the real life of the Ottoman sultans, the Hagia Sophia fully embodies the outstanding architectural art, and the Blue Mosque with six cloud-kissing minarets overlooks the Sea of Marmara. The tour today also contains the Basilica Cistern and the ancient hippodrome.

Day 4
Istanbul / Izmir / Kusadasi

Things to do for today: Ephesus , Arcadian Way , The Celcus Library , Shrine of Virgin Mary , Basilica of St. John

Take an early morning flight to Izmir. Your local guide there is waiting to bring you to explore the ancient city of Ephesus. The Arcadian Way, the Antique Theater, the Roman Baths, and the Celsus Library… prosperous history lives on every corner. Along the way to your hotel in Kusadasi, you can also make a short visit to the Basilica of St. John and the Shrine of the Virgin Mary.

Day 5
Kusadasi / Pamukkale

Things to do for today: Cotton Castle , The ancient city of Hierapolis

After breakfast, a 3-hour drive will take you to Pamukkale. It seems like a fairy-tale castle made of pure white cotton, but the sting of barefoot walking in this area would tell you that it is real. The ancient city of Hierapolis close to Pamukkale, once a flourishing city under the Roman era, will add some cultural experience for you.

Day 6
Pamukkale / Izmir / Kayseri / Cappadocia

This morning you will return to Izmir via a 3-hour drive to catch your flight to Kayseri in Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your lovely cave hotel. Hotel check-in and spend some time relaxing in the hotel or going out to find a nice spot to shoot the stunning sunset.

Day 7
Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Devrent Valley , Goreme National Park , Uchisar Castle

Cappadocia is a historical region in central Turkey, famous for its unique geography, history, and culture. The fairy chimneys at Devrent Valley and Pasabag Valley are the best ones in Cappadocia that are worth your visit. Later, continue to the Goreme Open Air Museum to appreciate the Byzantine art in the cave-churches and listen to the stories behind them. After getting a fabulous panoramic view over Cappadocia from the top of Uchisar Castle, you will end your tour at Pigeon Valley.

Day 8
Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Ortahisar

The first stop today is the Ortahisar, another castle carved in rocks that is similar to Uchisar. Following it is the subterranean city of Kaymakli, where you will have a chance to pass through the narrow, low, and steep tunnels to see how people lived under the ground centuries ago. Explore the troglodyte dwellings at Cavusin Valley later and then end the tour at the Red Valley and Wine House.

Day 9
Cappadocia / Exit
