Day 1
Arrival / Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be met and escorted to your hotel in Istanbul. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.

Day 2
Istanbul

Things to do for today: Bosphorus Cruise (1-hour) , Rumeli Fortress , Spice market

After breakfast, enjoy a 1-hour scenic cruise on the Bosphorus Strait, which is the boundary of Asia and Europe and connects the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. Later, visit the Rumeli Fortress, built in an incredibly short time in 1452. Continue to explore an exotic spice market, where plentiful herbs have been sold since the 15th century. You will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Istanbul at Galata Tower before returning to your hotel.

Day 3
Istanbul

Things to do for today: Topkapi Palace , Imperial Harem , Hagia Sophia , Blue Mosque , Basilica Cistern (closed for pandemic rules temporarily) , Hippodromet

This morning, head to Topkapi Palace to see its fabulous collections of jewels and other artifacts. The architecture inside the Imperial Harem also worth a visit. Later, proceed to the Hagia Sophia, which is a museum encompassing both Christianity and Islam nowadays. Your next stop is the Blue Mosque nearby with blue tiles decorating interior walls. Afterward, explore the Basilica Cistern and the ancient hippodrome.

Day 4
Istanbul - Kayseri - Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Devrent Valley , Goreme National Park , Uchisar Castle

Take a flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, be greeted by your driver and then be transferred to Cappadocia. Here you will marvel at breathtaking natural wonders, including the wonderful fairy chimneys at Devrent Valley and Pasabagi Valley, the charming examples of Byzantine art in the cave-churches of the Goreme Open Air Museum, and Pigeon Valley. Conclude the tour today in the Uchisar Castle, where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view over Cappadocia.

Day 5
Cappadocia

Things to do for today: Ortahisar

After breakfast, visit the Ortahisar, a natural citadel carved in rocks. Proceed to the Subterranean City of Kaymakli and then drive to Cavusin Valley to uncover the troglodyte dwellings where people lived for centuries. Afterward, explore the Red Valley and Wine House, famous for its fertile vineyards benefit from the mineral-laden volcanic soil of the area.

Day 6
Cappadocia - Istanbul - Bodrum

Enjoy time at leisure before heading to the airport for a flight to Bodrum with a stopover in Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 7
Bodrum

Things to do for today: St. Peter's Castle , The remains of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus , The ancient amphitheatre

The first stop today is the beautiful St. Peter's Castle built by the Knights of St. John. Later, visit the remains of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Afterward, continue to see one of the windmills, a symbol of the region, with a detour to the ancient amphitheater.

Day 8
Bodrum - Ephesus - Kuşadası

Things to do for today: Ephesus , Arcadian Way , The Celcus Library

After breakfast, drive about 3.5 hours to Ephesus for an archaeological tour. Upon arrival, explore the highlights including the Arcadian Way, the Antique Theater, the Celsus Library, and the Roman Baths. Afterward, be escorted to Kusadasi.

Day 9
Kuşadası - İzmir - Kuşadası

Things to do for today: The Agora , Kizlaragasi Hani , Asansor , Shrine of Virgin Mary , Basilica of St. John

After breakfast, be transferred to Izmir for a full-day tour. You will visit the Agora, the celebrated marketplace of old Smyrna located at the foot of the Pagos Hills and now been arranged into the Open Air Museum of Izmir. Proceed to the Kizlaragasi Hani, originally an inn for trade caravan from the East carrying silk and spices. Later, head to the Asansör, the old water operated elevator system. Afterward, drive back to Kusadasi with a stop at the Shrine of Virgin Mary and Basilica of St. John.

Day 10
Kuşadası - İzmir - Exit
